Region Skåne is responsible for interregional and cross-border cooperation with other regions outside Sweden. Skåne is part of the Öresund Region, comprising not only Skåne but also the Copenhagen Capital Region of Denmark.
Region Skåne participates in a number of Interreg IV projects around the Baltic Sea and the North Sea and it also has cross-border partnership agreements with other regions abroad.
