Every year, Region Skåne buys products and services for around 35 billion SEK, which is a little more than half our budget.
The aim of the procurement process is to ensure that tax funds are handled responsibly, and that Region Skåne’s operations get products and services of the right quality at the right price.
Our procurements are primarily regulated by the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and the Utilities Procurement Act (LUF), both of which are based on European legislation.
