Research in Region Skåne
Research supported by Region Skåne must be of high national and international quality and benefit both citizens and health care.
Region Skåne conducts much of its research and development work in collaboration with other actors, including academia and industry. These collaborations take place on a regional, national, and international level.
Research within Skåne's healthcare system aims to provide:
- Citizens with new knowledge through improved preventive care, diagnostics, and treatment.
- Health care providers with new knowledge through better education and increased expertise.
- Society with growth through new knowledge, improved collaboration with universities and colleges, and stimulation of innovation.
